Wishing you were somehow near.
Sometimes it seemed, if I just dreamed.
Somehow you would be here.

Lucrecia's face is thin and heart-shaped. Her eyes are large, with a small nose and her lips just a little too full. Her eyebrows aren't too thick, fairly long, well-styled and dark compared to her hair, but they suit the width of her forehead. She has small ears and defined cheekbones. She also has two indented circle-shaped scars above her right eyebrow; a sign of chicken pox during her childhood, although these aren't very visible.
The girl loves the way she looks, and is very appreciative of her parents because of it! She doesn't usually wear any makeup, making her seem very natural which suits Lucrecia. As her lips and eyes are her favourite facial features, she might occasionally wear lip-gloss and mascara/eyeliner to highlight these areas for special occasions.
Lucrecia's hair is currently a medium brown, and reaches just below her shoulders. It has a few darker and lighter streaks throughout it as well however. Lucrecia's hair is layered and fairly wavy, and she often pushes it back from her face in order to clear her view and keep from getting flustered. Lucrecia adores her hair as it reminds her of her mother. Her eyes are a deep purple, an unusual trait she picked up from her mother's side of her family. They're framed by thick, long black lashes, which gives the impression of them being very big and can often help Lucrecia to look innocent and endearing, if she so wishes, or sexy, like she normally tries to look.
Miss Night likes to look good, and she uses her figure to this effect as much as she can. When she was in school, her skirt was often short, her blouses fairly tight and her sweaters and robes well-fitting. As of late however she's been toning her wardrobe down some, not showing as much skin as she used to. Having grown up in a pureblood family with several house-elves about, Lucrecia had been taught spells to keep her clothing looking presentable all through the day, and she took full advantage of this. Her hair is a different matter however, often pushed back casually, or held back with a beanie, with never much thought going into it.
Lucrecia wears fairly casual clothes now, to suit her laid-back personality. The girl absolutely loves wearing skinny jeans and form fitting shorts are also a favourite of hers. It' not often you will see her in a skirt or dress just for the hell of it. She does like to look fabulous at parties however, often wearing sparkly dresses or patterned tops which suit her figure with black or denim skirts. No matter her wardrobe though, she normal has some for of heels on, whether it's boots or the like is dependent of the outfit. She'll wear regular shoees from time to time, but not often.
The styles of jewelry that Lucrecia wears are small, delicate pieces, often silver or gold. She doesn't wear it a lot, as she tends to either forget to put them on or take them off. The one exception to this rule is a small silver ring, which Lucrecia has had for a long time, as a present from her mother; this hardly ever gets taken off, and Lucrecia loathes to do so.

Lucrecia is, stubborn, willful laid-back, and opinionated. She believes she's right 100% of the time and refuses to even acknowledge any other possibility. "No" is not a possible answer for her demands and if she sets her sights on something she will do everything (literally) to achieve it. She functions on the principle that whatever she wants, she will do, whatever she desires, she will get. Rules only matter until they start hindering and getting in the way of what she wants at the time. It is the same with authority. What is considered normal and moral by most doesn't matter to her and she sets her own taglines, building her own world.
What someone else tells her to be doesn't matter. The only things setting her actions are her own moods. When she was younger there was nothing more amusing to her than to play pretend to get what she wanted. While she still finds some pleasure in it she does it only when there is something to gain, otherwise she finds it limiting.
Lucrecia is passionate about everything she does, which is visible in her relationships. She is fiercely possessive and protective of the few people she's close to, ready to go to any lengths to protect them and ensure they are happy and safe. Those she loves are the only ones who can expect getting something from her, without having to pay in some way.

Christine Routhier and Lucian Night met when they were just twenty two years old while they both were working for the Ministry of Magic in Paris, France. Both from pureblood families, they were a perfect match in their parents eyes, and a whirlwind romance turned from a few weeks into a year and a half, with Christine becoming pregnant. The couple were married in a small church in a Paris suburb, with a mere 20 guests present; family and close friends only. Soon after, Lucian and his six-month pregnant wife moved away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the beach side down of Biarritz, in Brittany, and just a little while later, a baby was born.
They named her Lucrecia Daaé Night.
The name was typically French, but it was different then usual which made a lot of their French friends frown as they struggled to pronounce the name properly. Nonetheless, Lucrecia was a beautiful little girl, and given that she lived in France, she picked up the language as easy as she learnt English from her parents. Her childhood was a happy one, and when the girl was five years old her parents bought her a puppy; the dog was a Black Golden Retriever, a breed well known for their loving and loyal nature, and she named the dog Erik due to her fondness of the name. Although he was just two months old and still rather small when they got him, he had grown to twice that size by the time Lucrecia was six years old.
Yet Lucrecia had scarcely turned six when something happened which changed her life forever. Her Aunt Victoria and her Uncle Noah, who were a few years older than her own parents, had come to visit the family. Victoria was her mother's sister, and so a pureblood witch, whilst Noah was a Muggle. They'd been there just two days and they were looking after Lucrecia for the evening when the phone call came. Victoria was crying and Noah looked sick to his stomach as they told Lucrecia that her parents had been found, dead.
It was said that Christine and Lucian had gone out for the evening, to have some time to themselves. They had enjoyed a hearty meal at a famous restaurant a little way up the coast and enjoyed tasting the delicacies of the local wines. Before they knew it, it was midnight and time to return home. The couple hadn't even considered hiring a taxi, but Lucian was one and a half time over the legal alcohol limit when he got into the driver's side of the car. Twenty minutes later, he lost control of the vehicle and the couple went careering over the side of the sixty foot high cliff. They died on impact with the water.
Or at least, that's what Lucrecia tells everybody, when in reality, they had been murdered. The killer however was never found.
Naturally, her Aunt and Uncle took over as her guardians, removing both her and Erik from their home in Lyon to the quiet yet beautiful city of Canterbury, in England. Throughout all the confusion and sadness the young child felt and for several years after, her dog was there the entire time, and the simple adoration that she got from the pet was, unbeknownst to her, going to shape her future.
The brunette girl settled into a steady rhythm in her new home, and Victoria and Noah showed her more love than she could ever have hoped for. They'd known for many years that they couldn't have their own children, and so they treated Lucrecia like she was their own. A lot of people even thought she was, given the fact that the girl looked exactly like her Aunt. They spoiled her, and after a while, Lucrecia became happier in her new home than she was sure she'd ever felt before. She had everything she wanted, and if she didn't she got it soon enough. Her Aunt and Uncle basically allowed her anything she wanted. Anything she said, they did. Then before she knew it, her letter arrived, inviting her to join the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Her journey through Hogwarts was a rather easy one for Lucrecia. Upon entering, she was sorted into the prestigous Slytherin House. At first she dispised the thought of being in a house that was stereotypically evil. But throughtout her time in the house she came to realize that not all Slytherins were that way. Which comforted her a bit and let her know she wasn't alone when it came to being remotely nice.
Around her third year, Lucrecia tried out for the Slytherin Quidditch team, demanding the position of Seeker. She was determaned to take the spot, cause in all her times of watching the games between the houses, it was the Seekers who ultimately got the most attention and praise. Much to her ditaste, she was not "given" the position and had to try-out like all the rest. Amazingly enough to her, she was given the position after her try-out. Which confused to to some point since she wasn't able to catch the snitch but the captain at the time said something about her having to most potential of all the students who showed up to try-out. She spent her entire third year, running drills and practicing. She eventually became a rather successful Seeker. Which pleased Lucrecia. She loved flying first and foremost, but the attention winning a game and catching the snitch brought was a godsend to her. She loved it.
At the start of her 5th year, Lucrecia was given the position of Slytherin Prefect, and held up that position until her Seventh year when the headmaster at the time promoted her to Head girl. It wasn't until early in her 5th year that Lucrecia decided she wanted to be an Auror above all else. Before, she had been determained to continue on with her Quidditch carrear by signing up to be the Hollyhead Harpies Seeker, being her favorite team, but she recieved a strange bit of information about her parents death that changed her mind.
Becoming an Auror was her priority now. In her mind, it was the only way to have the resources available to find out what really happened to her parents. She spent her fifth and sixth years, preparing herself for her N.E.W.T.s to come in her seventh year, so much so that she almost lost her position as Slytherin Seeker and never aquired the position of Slytherin Quidditch Captain as she had originally wanted. Come her seventh year, she passed her Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, and Charms N.E.W.T.s with flying colours, recieving Ouststandings in all of them. She only recieved a Exceeds Expectations in Herbology however, and was almost borderline Acceptable. Herbology wasn't her best subject, but she tried none the less and got the grade she needed.
After her graduation from Hogwarts, Lucrecia took a couple months time of to go back a visit her Aunt and Uncle. With how busy she had been in shool, she hadn't seen them in a few years due to her skipping holidy's and staying in the castle. She informed them of her plans to become an Auror, which thrilled them. They were so proud of her for working so hard and wanting to do something good in her life. Eventually Lucrecia left her Aunt and Uncles home and went to the Ministry to begin the three year long hardship that was the Auror Training program. At a few points in the training, Lucrecia almost gave up on the position, thinking that continuing it would be suicide but she pressed on. She was more determained then ever to get this. She had to. For the sake of her mother and father. She eventually completed her training and was enlisted as a full fledged Auror at the age of 21.
Now at the age of 23, Lucrecia is still working as an Auror in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry, and is slowly piecing together the true happenings of the story behind her parents mysterious death. What she doesn't realize is however, that the information she is so desperately searching for, will change her view on life and everything she has known, forever.
