Piper is shorter than most of the female population. Her hair is down to her back, and gently sways against her thin frame. Hands of powder white can be seen running through her blond locks. She is as pure as the sun, as one to be seen as nothing but completely sweet. Her frame is thin, but not so much as muscular. Her face is graciously crafted and accented with pink lifts that curve into the most perfect of smiles. Her innocence is seen completely through that smile, but sometimes it’s almost treated like a mask. She can disguise her thoughts well.
Her clothing resides to what ever is comfortable. She’s a plain Jane, southern belle, and always looks very nicely dressed. She likes to be respected, treated that way, and her outfits show how appreciated she feels she should be. She is not full of herself, but she enjoys being equal and not looked over just because she’s a woman. Her blond hair is almost always down and is known to change colors when she’s over angry. It is usually in loose curls that gracefully fall to her back.
She hides herself beneath her clothing, and not much else can be seen. Her eyes are a deep blue color, almost like a winter storm blue, but it was an interesting color that was almost silver. When she was younger she used to play with her eye color, hair color, and various other things due to her powers. She was never a fan of her appearance. She always wanted to change something or grew bored with something, but she had never been picked on for imperfections. That was her very most favorite factor of having the power to change things – she could be absolutely perfect like she’s supposed to be.

Piper is the kindest person that anyone could ever come by. She’s known to take in rescued animals, as well as take care of children that are looking for homes. She had always wanted to own and run a foster home, but it had never been meant to be. She adores children, has always wanted some, and debating about adopting one of her own. It has yet to be, however, and just focuses on everything else. She has a slight fear of being a horrible parent. She had never tried, but her temper problem is something that she worries about immensely.
She can come off as a sweetheart, but her students know how to push her buttons. She takes her job as the most important thing in her entire life. She does not take kindly to those who view her class as a playground. She treats her classroom and her students like a circus, so to speak. The workers have to be trained, skilled, and know absolutely everything down to the most precise level. If they don’t, then they’d never succeed. What is a tight-rope walker who has no balance? What is a student who has not learned anything?
Her number one biggest pet peeve is people who do not pay attention. She doesn’t like the feeling that she is talking to herself, nor the feeling that she isn’t respected enough to be listened to. She, also, does not like the feeling of having to talk over others. She’ll ask them to settle down in a sickly sweet way, but do a complete turn around if someone doesn’t listen. She gave herself a bad reputation as a teacher, but school was not meant for fun and games. It was meant to be for learning so that students could shape themselves into being successful, and she makes sure that they are doing just that.

n the heart of Texas was where the southern beauty was born. She was a country girl who loved the land, anything growing on it, and appreciated the true meaning of home. Piper was a girl who was raised to appreciate the ground and little things for what they were meant to be worth. She treated her home town with respect, the people with a bright smile on her face, and for every day of her life it seemed since that early morning in February that she was born. She was a beautiful child who wanted nothing more but to make people happy. It was mainly because she wanted to, but also to stop the rumors and bad mouth that was being said about her mother. She knew all the stories were true, but she didn’t want anyone else to know that.
Piper was born to Lillian Kincaid and someone whom she never learned the name of. The story that she knew of was that her father and mother were married, but they fought so much that Lillian knew they wouldn’t survive. When he father left she was only a few months old, but her mother was good to her and gave her absolutely everything she needed to survive. Overall she was a very polite child, always helping her mother with chores, and hardly ever threw a tantrum. When she did, however, she was a force to be reckoned with. She was never good at controlling her anger, especially when she had completely let it fly free. It was something that she intended to work on, but it grew difficult because she had never become angry. Only very few times did she have trouble.
She attended a muggle school when she grew old enough to do things on her own. Her mother kept the magic secret from her, but she had been questioning her entire life if something were different about her. Strange things often happen and Piper had no explanation for it. It seemed extremely odd and rare to look at something and then completely change it the next time. She had believed that she were different, a freak, but had kept her mishaps a secret from the world. She didn’t want her mother to know because she didn’t want to frighten her. She didn’t want to scare her into believing that she was hurt or completely insane. It was only a matter of time before she had really learned the truth. Her mother, however, feared the day that she would ever have to explain it to her beautiful daughter.
Piper was over all a very good student. She was a quick learner, loved to pay attention, and she always had the very best of grades. She did not have many friends, but that was on behalf of her little problem. Her temper had gotten the best of her too many times. She had perfect grades, but her record was flawed beyond all repairs. She had seriously harmed a couple students on behalf of being ridiculed. She did not tolerate being made fun of or disrespected. She knew when and how to get even, though it was often resolved through violence and got her into much more trouble. She hadn’t meant for things to get so far and she tried her hardest to calm herself, but he temper just could not be tamed. She tried to throw everything behind her, but sometimes she just couldn’t do anything but let her blood boil.
It was an early morning the summer that she had received a letter from a mysterious destination. Being only twelve years old, she didn’t know what to make of it, but it had her name on it. Her mother told her not to and that she had many things to explain first. Piper was appalled that her mother had kept such a secret from her and was on the edge of losing all trust in her mother completely. She explained about Piper’s father, what he was, and what he claimed to do. She, however, was afraid of Piper going to such a place, especially if her father was who he said he was. Lillian did not want them to meet, she did not want them to interact at all, and it was mostly on account of the fact that he didn’t merit to be in either life.
Her mother wanted to move somewhere else, severing ties between the American Ministry and Piper. She had sent several letters to other Wizarding schools and had agreed on Hogwarts that resided in London. Piper, however, did not like the thought of that one bit. Texas was her home and she did not intend on going anywhere else. It caused many fights between her and her mother, but it had all ended in both their favors. She hoped that learning magic meant that she wouldn’t have to go on a plane ever again. London hadn’t seemed so bad, except for the fact that it always seemed to rain. The rain was something Piper didn’t mind, but it was the thunder and lightning storms afterwards that terrified her.
It took quite some time to settle in before fall had begun approaching. They found a home in Ipswich, a small cottage, and her mother continued the same job she had. She worked with international affairs, buying and trading things overseas, and now that she was in a new country she had found herself very surprised that so many knew her name. She had been working with England for many years, but she never realized how well they kept track of their American agents. She seemed happy with her job and Piper couldn’t help but feel happy for her. It had slightly fallen down hill before school, however. Her mother always stayed out late, coming home at incredulously tardy hours, and always gone before she ever woke in the morning. It’s like she wasn’t even there.
Hogwarts was terrifying for Piper. She relied on all the stories about the Wizarding Worlds as she entered her new school. She wasn’t used to being in new places and the fact that she didn’t know anyone didn’t help. She had met a friend on the express, however, by the name of Dawn. She was someone who was incredibly sweet and the kindest person that Piper thought she had ever met in her life. She entered Hogwarts alone due to the age differences. Dawn was almost four years older than her and they gapped once again as Piper went to Ravenclaw and Dawn was in Gryffindor. They vowed to be best friends forever and it had became harder due to the fact that they had absolutely no classes together.
Piper’s first year was mostly uneventful. She spent more of her time in the library trying to keep up with school, as well as her year. She felt like they had an advantage over her due to the fact that most of them were raised completely by wizards. Sometimes it just seemed that Piper was the only one missing that certain bond. She, however, never let it get to her. She was determined to learn just as much as they, if not more, at the same speed, or perhaps even faster. She had met a couple more friends along the way, but her temper problem still stalled to get better. Only one person seemed to really understand it, and that still remained to be her Gryffindor pal.
Dawn was there when Piper had begun to go through certain changes that became petrifying. She suddenly became able to do things that no one else could. When she got mad her hair would change colors and when she wished in the mirror to make her skin neater it was done, just like that. She had learned from a teacher that her changes meant that she was a Metamorphagus. She was able to change her appearance to look anyway she wanted to. The southern in her, however, made her keep her blond locks. She enjoyed them enough to not want to change them. She experimented a lot, however, but her temper seemed to become even more out of control.
The first summer home was when everything began to just fall apart. Her mother had become happy with the events in her life and become obsessed with drinking. She was sick every night, fought constantly with Piper over things, and all Piper wanted to do was go back to school. She tried to hide the beer, the liqueur, and everything else in between. Her mother, however, continued to get a hold of it all over again. Piper would cry constantly, get on her knees and beg her to stop, but she wouldn’t budge. She couldn’t find anyway to change her mothers mind – no matter how hard she pleaded. She just wanted to see her mother happy and she didn’t know how to fix it. Lillian wouldn’t even tell her how she became what she had.
She was content with returning to school. Her next few years at Hogwarts were delightfully vague, but she was comfortable with the calmness. She showed a great deal of interest in a class called Potions and she had decided to continue on to become an instructor in that particular course. She, however, did not give up in any of her other courses, but she also didn’t stay out of trouble. She found herself in the Headmaster’s office very often due to hexing and hurting students. He seemed to understand that her temper seemed to be used towards the greater good and he was content with that. He just feared that she wouldn’t be able hold back if the wrong things were said. It was somewhat true, however. People had ended up in the hospital because of her.
Her grades qualified her to be prefect, but her record did not. Her best friend went on to be one, but nothing could change her record and the counsel had to refuse any powers that she could possibly be granted. She was fine with that, however. She didn’t need to have any sort of power that implied enforcing rules. As long as they were on her good side then they were considered respected in her eyes. She had always shown the greatest respect towards her teachers. They were the greatest inspirations in her world, so successful, and so dedicated to everything. They were always willing to help, except for a few bag eggs, but Piper didn’t let them get to her. She would never dream to talk down to a teacher. She would just lift her head in confidence and find out the answer on her own.
The O.W.L tests were a breeze for Piper. She found herself with almost a perfect score, which she found to her great content, but her mother didn’t seem sober enough to care. Piper found most of her nights in the summer crying because everything was failing. Her entire world was burning down and her mother seemed to drown out everything that mattered in the world. She was failing at her job, losing everything, putting a mortgage on the house, and it had caused Piper to take up a job so that she had someplace to live in the summer. She didn’t like the fact that all of her hours went to the house and none for herself, but it’s what she had to do to keep a home. She doubted her mother was going to do anything about it. It seemed to be all up to her now.
Graduation seemed to come quickly to her. By the time the end of Seventh year came around everything seemed to be looking a lot better. Her mother was doing better, putting her drinks aside, and working on her own to save their home. Piper felt comfortable again to leave her. She wrote to her almost every day for a while, but it was time that she grew up. Her N.E.W.T.S arrived, almost all perfect, and she found herself gunning for a position at the castle. The one she wanted was not open, but she attempted to settle for a substitute until she could really prove her skills. She was content with the job she had, but had to double with the summer one just to be able to afford the bills. It was a struggle, but she made it out alright.
She had given herself a bad reputation at Hogwarts. She had heard ghastly nicknames spread all over the place, but she was much older and petty jokes did not bother her any longer. She found them to be rather amusing, actually. She would often find silly drawings giving the innuendo that she was a dragon lady, or that she could eat a student in a single gulp. The fact that students were passing notes would get her fired up, but what they contained usually made her laugh. The rumors may have been true, but she was hired as a professor under the impression that she would never strike or harm a student. This became easy, but resisting throwing a desk or two became another temper matter.
The year went on and Piper had proven her loyalty and kept her temper under observation. She was hard on troublemakers, however, she tried to refuse to suspend. Only twice did she ever have to do it and it was for life threatening reasons. Things seemed to fall into place; her own home, the position she always wanted, and she could carry on to aide her best friend at her side. Everything just seemed absolutely perfect.
